As a struggling lawyer at Tis Hazari ( District Court } saddled with depression and a never ending spirit to react immediately on impulse I always ended up shocking myself the most .
In a spirit of humanitarianism and kindness I once employed as my clerks Tapasya and Uttam . Tapasya was in her early 40s and a schizophrenic . Uttam was a young man , my once client , slightly mentally retarted . His frustrated father had beaten him with a stick in court for making me lose his matrimonial case . During cross – examination Uttam had passionately praised his wife who was seeking divorce and maintenance from him . In sympathy for both the helpless father and son I had engaged the latters service to pacify and help them .
One day Tapasya , Uttam and I were sitting idle in my chamber . Suddenly Tapasya had a fit . She picked up a glass of water and started making strange noises . Simultaneously a bumblebee flew into the chamber through the open door . It was a winters day . Terrified , Uttam did not know how to react to the two pronged danger of Tapasya and the bee . Shouting , ” shes mad ” , ” shes mad ” , swiftly switching on the fan at top speed he shot outside with the bee also making a hurried exit behind him .
